Poplar Grove Plant & Garden Sale

Saturday March 23 9:00 – 4:00 & Sunday March 24 10:00 – 4:00

Location:  On the grounds, Poplar Grove Plantation, nine miles north of Wilmington.  Please come prepared for an OUTSIDE SALE, RAIN or SHINE.

Acceptable entries:  Live vegetable, herb and flower plants, gardening items and accessories, herbal products, dried material, garden art, books, tools, home-based foods, select arts & crafts with a focus on nature/environment/recycling.  Booths may be limited to avoid repetition.  Poplar Grove has the right to refuse entries as they see fit.

Booth/Show Layout:  Spaces will be approximately 15’ x 15’.  Booth spaces will be assigned and marked, a layout of the spaces will be sent by e-mail on or before the 21st of March.  Please indicate any special considerations, (electricity, same location as previous, etc.), for your booth on the application form; we will honor such requests when possible.

Show Set-Up: Exhibits must be set up and vehicles off the lawn by 8:45 AM on Saturday.  Vendors may set up on Friday, March 22nd, after 12:00 noon if needed, please contact BJ if you plan to set up on Friday.  There will be overnight security on Saturday night, but not on Friday night.  Vendors must provide all displays, tables, etc. that will be needed for the sale.

Vendors are responsible for collecting North Carolina sales tax on all sales made during the Plant & Garden Sale.  A North Carolina sales tax number is required by North Carolina law.

An accepted application is a commitment to show.  No refunds will be made for a cancellation by a vendor or due to inclement weather.

All vendors must exhibit from 9:00 AM until 4:00 PM, Saturday March 23rd and from 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM, Sunday March 24th.  This event is held RAIN or SHINE!  No one may move a vehicle on the grounds during event hours!

 

Entry Requirements

Booth fees: payable to Poplar Grove Plantation for each 15' x 15' space.  

Plant Vendors: $130.00 (Any vendor selling live plants at their booth)

Art/Craft/Other Vendors: $100.00

Return the completed application form with your booth fee.

Return information will be sent by e-mail, unless you prefer to send a SASE for your show information.  Please notify us of any e-mail address change.

 

Deadline:  Application must be received by February 15, 2013.
