Arts & Crafts + Flea Market

The Arts & Crafts + Flea Market will be held in conjunction with the Classy-Chassis Car Show on Saturday July 13, 2013; rain date July 14^th; (if inclement weather is forecast for the 13^th a decision on the date will be made on or before July 12^th and we will contact you by e-mail).  For more information on the show and Poplar Grove please see our website: www.poplargrove.com.

Location:  Lawn of Poplar Grove Plantation, nine miles north of Wilmington.  Please come prepared for an outside sale.

Acceptable entries:  Gently used items, such as, toys, tools, furniture, house-wares, collectibles, books, clothing (no worn out shoes or clothes!), jewelry, CD’s, etc., plus, plants, produce, homemade jams, jellies, arts & crafts, bazaar items, car parts and car-related items, new items.

Booths may be limited to avoid repetition.  Poplar Grove has the right to refuse entries as they see fit.

Booths:  Spaces will be assigned and marked by 7:00 AM on Saturday, July 13^th.  Exhibits must be set up and all vehicles off the lawn by 8:30 AM.  The show will open to the public at 9:00 AM.  Spaces will be approximately 15’ x 15’.  (If vender needs to come on Friday please contact BJ).  Vendors must provide all displays, tables, etc. that will be needed for the sale (no blankets on the ground please).  Items must be displayed in an orderly manner, arranged so that the public can clearly see merchandise.

An accepted application is a commitment to show.  No refunds will be made for a cancellation by a vendor or due to inclement weather.

Vendors must exhibit from 9:00 AM until 4:00 PM, Saturday, July 13, 2013 (or rain date of Sunday July 14.)

New this year will be the Creative Artists of Hampstead Art Show & Sale held in the cultural arts center ‘barn’.  Their show/sale will be held in conjunction with us on Saturday, 9 – 4 and also on Sunday, 10 – 4.  All outside vendors will apply with this application.  All inside vendors must contact Gerry Nelson at 910-270-4739 or gsnelson@charter.net.  Outside vendors wishing to do both days must apply with Poplar Grove for Saturday and with Gerry for Sunday (additional $20.00 to Hampstead Arts for both days).

Entry Requirements

$30.00 booth fee payable to Poplar Grove Plantation for each 15' x 15' space.

Send the completed application and booth fee.  Arts & Crafts vendors should send 3 – 5 digital photos representing their items, or mail photos with the application.

Replies will be by email unless you include a self-addressed stamped envelope.  Acceptance/not accepted will be sent on or before June 14^th.  Entries not accepted will have the booth fee returned.

Deadline:  Application must be received by June 7, 2013.  Spaces are limited!
