No refunds. Race is
limited to 300 runners and walkers combined.
T-shirt and race packet can be picked up at Poplar Grove’s
Cultural Arts Center (barn) Friday, September 21 from 4:00 until 7:00 pm,
and from 7:00 am until 7:45 am before the race begins on the 24th.
Awards for the top 3 finishers in each age category. Registration fee is non-refundable.
No bikes, pets, or strollers please. Application is below or
you may register on-line at active.com. Course: The
race begins at the Cultural Arts Center (barn) and covers the scenic
trails around Abbey Nature Preserve’s Mill Pond and Pine Thicket.
Course terrain is varied and natural with: slight hills, partial
sandy or pine straw-covered footing, some foot-grabbing roots and the
potential for mud if the weather is or has been inclement. Application Waiver: I hereby, for myself, my heirs, and anyone entitled on my behalf, release and discharge Poplar Grove Plantation, Abbey Nature Preserve and their owners, directors, employees, sponsors, volunteers, promoters, and all participants from any and all claims of injury, damages, illness or liabilities of any kind. I fully appreciate and assume all risks of participating in this open course which has, roots, branches, vegetation, mud, water and other obstacles that may cause me to be injured. I hereby certify that I am in proper physical condition to participate. I agree the decisions of the race officials are to be final and, give my permission for the free and unrestricted use of my name and picture in any broadcast or published account of the event. Please
